I started this project well over a year ago but kept facing major interruptions to contend with after I’d refinished the dresser…so slowly, slowly, as I could, after hand-painting the same pattern on both sides of each drawer with a new pattern per drawer, it’s finally complete. The idea is a peek of a pattern revealed as the drawer pulls open. Below is a gallery of items where I’ve applied some of these paintings to other textiles for sale, like a great nylon foldaway tote (that just landed a compliment this week in the wilds of NYC!) + a leather wallet and a yoga mat.
